GlamBam is fast becoming an established Glam Rock tribute band in South-East England. We aim to be authentic and true to the sound and style of this influential period of music and fully embrace the instantly recognisable dress sense. We encourage our audience to do the same.

The original idea for Glam Bam came from Noddy who loves a bit of 70s nostalgia and is, in fact, related to GlamRoyalty. Next was Cozy who, after a variety of musical dalliances, finally realised his dream of playing Glam music for real. We became complete when Dave, initially a reluctant Glam member who preferred prog rock, joined us temporarily (and under duress) for one gig. Dave quickly realised the error of his ways and now can’t stop buying Glam stuff!

It would be remiss to ignore the contribution of Jim Jams who got us going but, as a dyed in the wool and great R&B Wilko-Esque guitarist, he’s much happier plying his trade in a different genre now.

The musicians that currently make up GlamBam are all highly experienced and well regarded amongst peers in their particular field. They have brought their skillset to bring this sometimes "technically challenging" music to life with great accuracy.

One thing we can guarantee is that the audience young or old, really enjoy our shows and fully get into the spirit of being transported back to the early glam and glitz of the period.

GlamBam plays music from the 70’s, covering legendary bands such as Slade, The Sweet, T Rex, Alice Cooper, David Bowie and many more from this magnificent point in time.
